Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023 :
A meeting of BJP leaders was held till late night at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. In this meeting, the election strategy along with the names of the candidates were discussed, especially on all those seats where the party had lost in the last elections held in the state. Apart from BJP national president JP Nadda, party’s national organization general secretary BL Santosh, Chhattisgarh election in-charge Om Mathur, former Chief Minister Raman Singh and state president Arun Sao, many senior leaders were also present in this meeting held at Amit Shah’s residence.
BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting today :
According to sources, this meeting will be held on Wednesday (September 13) evening with the Prime Minister Narendra modi. It took place in the presence of and before the meeting of the Central Election Committee to be chaired by the BJP President. In which the preparations for Chhattisgarh Assembly to be held at the end of this year and the strategy and campaigns being run against the Bhupesh Baghel government of the state have also been discussed. The conclusions reached in this meeting will be placed in the Central Election Committee meeting on Wednesday.
In the meeting of the Central Election Committee to be held on Wednesday in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and under the chairmanship of JP Nadda, the names of candidates from Chhattisgarh as well as Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh can also be discussed. In the meeting of BJP’s Central Election Committee, decisions will be taken on about 50 seats in Madhya Pradesh and 35 seats in Chhattisgarh, after which the second list of candidates from both the states can be released any time.
Second list of candidates may be approved :
In this meeting called late at night, about 35 B category seats of Chhattisgarh were discussed. These are the seats which BJP had lost in the last elections. Today BJP can approve the second list of candidates for the assembly elections to be held in Chhattisgarh.
Let us tell you that on August 17 last month, BJP had released its first list of names of 21 candidates for Chhattisgarh Assembly elections and 39 candidates for Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. BJP has changed its strategy this time due to the defeat in Karnataka elections. The party has announced candidates for weak seats much before the elections. However, the dates for the assembly elections have not been announced yet by the Election Commission.
